Our Legacy
Belle Époque was born from a harmony of heritage and technique. Founder Carmen García Garreta combined the artisanal European jacquard practices of her native Spain with the rich traditions of 18th- and 19th-century American textiles. Her inaugural collection of quilted bedspreads seamlessly bridged these two worlds, establishing a distinct design language rooted in heritage, artistry, and timeless refinement.
Today, nearly forty years on, Belle Époque remains a family-owned and women-led company. Joined by her husband David and their daughters, Carmen continues to guide a company built on understated luxury, exceptional craftsmanship, and enduring quality, partnering with the world’s premier retailers, hospitality properties, and private labels.
